EDGE (Grades 6-8)
At Blessed Sacrament we use EDGE as our Middle School Religious Education and Ministry program.  EDGE, like Life Teen, is an international Catholic youth ministry catechesis, which seeks to lead teens closer to Christ.  It is 100% Catholic using the Catechism and scripture with personal testimony to engage and encourage them to grow deeper in their faith.  EDGE is open to all 6th - 8th grade students at Blessed Sacrament, as well as their friends!  Our EDGE mornings consist of games, activities, the use of different media and talks to engage our middle school students in different topics of their Catholic faith. Edge meets during the school year on alternating Sundays from 12-2 pm.

LifeTeen (Grades 9-12)
At Blessed Sacrament we use LifeTeen as our High School Religious Education and Ministry program.  Life Teen is an international Catholic youth ministry catechesis, which seeks to lead teens closer to Christ. Life Teen is 100% Catholic using the Catechism and scripture coupled with personal testimony to engage the youth to grow deeper in their faith. Life teen is open to all 9th - 12th grade students at Blessed Sacrament, as well as their friends!  Our "Life Nights" consist of lectures, small group discussion, prayer, praise and worship, games, and activities to engage the teens in different topics of their faith.  LifeTeen meets during the school year on alternating Sundays from 12-2 pm.

Confirmation Preparation (Grade 10)
In the Diocese of Richmond, youth are confirmed in the spring of their 10th grade year.  Confirmation classes meet during the school year on Sundays from 9:30-11 am.  It is strongly encouraged that anyone interested in the Confirmation program, also join us for LifeTeen.  If you have any questions, contact Rachel.

Core Team Volunteers
The Blessed Sacrament Youth Ministry team is seeking new volunteers to help with our Life Teen and Confirmation programs!  We need adults who are passionate about their faith and willing to share that passion with the youth of our parish, and have a desire to volunteer with teenagers.
